String Beads started up in 1993. The idea was to provide a significant level of beads and supplies at a high level of quality, with excellent customer service and very competitive prices. We are proud that we continue to improve upon these goals. There are now over 25,000 items and a data base of over 20,000 satisfied customers.

String Beads is somewhat unique, in that the business is computer assisted. The intent is to serve and inform the customer with a receipt that accurately itemizes and describes items purchased.

String Beads has been successful because of the vastness and quality of the inventory, the service that each customer receives and competitive pricing. Dedicated employees enhance these attributes. Our belief in taking care of customers resulted in having a work area where people can sit and ponder the opportunities, receive assistance and use the tools available. String Beads provides classes and supplies thousands of beads, stones, metals, findings, threading materials, wires, tools, adhesives and books.

We also make and sell exemplary lampwork, fused glass and wearable beaded art, some of which are being sold and shown nationally.
